NEWS RELEASE
"The Power of Optimism" helps with personal, professional growth
Arizona Author To Sign New Book At Changing Hands Bookstore on Oct. 17
OPTIMISM - A tendency to expect the best possible outcome or to dwell upon the most hopeful aspects of a situation.
Arizona resident and businessman Andy Dzurinko, CLU, ChFC, is the eternal optimist. He shares his enthusiasm and optimism with everyone through his new book "The Power of Optimism - Insights to Personal & Professional Growth."
"My book offers helpful suggestions for everyone about daily life situations. In one chapter of the book, entitled 'There's no right way to do a wrong thing,' I address ethical behavior. The allegations against Enron, WorldCom, Tyco, Adelphi and other corporations have shaken the foundation of our financial institutions, eroded investor confidence and caused citizens to feel a loss of trust in the free enterprise system. Each person or corporation must decide if what they are doing is right and then be prepared to accept the consequences of their actions."
Many in the financial service and insurance industry have been impressed with Andy's ideas. As a result, he has been asked to speak at company meetings nationally.
On Oct. 17, Andy will appear from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, 6428 S. McClintock Dr., for a special book-signing event.
"Optimism has been more important than ever this past year as people continue to rebuild their lives and businesses after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on our nation. Understanding some of the basic principles of behavioral dynamics is the first step in developing your full potential in life. Hopefully, my book will help people do that."
A native of Monessen, Pa., just outside of Pittsburgh, Andy now resides in Chandler, Ariz. He has more than 20 years experience with American United Life Insurance Company as a training director, regional vice president of agencies, general agent and agent.
Currently, Andy owns his own insurance business based in Tempe, Ariz. He is executive director of the Arizona Governor's Council on Health, Physical Fitness and Sports and he is president of the Frank Kush Youth Foundation. He is also a former teacher and football coach on the high school and college level.
